Senior Manager of Global Treasury COE & North America Cash Management

About the Team

We own, design and implement Uber’s global banking infrastructure to ensure liquidity across all entities, optimize cash balances and support global business expansion. As the leader of North America Cash Management and the global Treasury COE, you will connect regional liquidity leadership with scalable global operations, ensuring our people, processes and infrastructure enable the business to grow.

About the role

Uber is seeking a Senior Manager to lead North America Cash Management and its global Treasury Center of Excellence (COE). You will be a senior leader in Uber’s evolving Treasury function.

This is a key leadership role responsible for the cash, liquidity and operational risk management strategy for North America, alongside the global operating model for centralized Treasury services. You will lead internal teams and extended BPO partners, manage senior banking and stakeholder relationships, and act as a strategic Treasury partner to business leaders.

Your mandate is to translate global Treasury objectives into disciplined execution and scalable operations, balancing capital efficiency, financial controls and reliable service delivery.

What You Will Do

• Own the North America cash and liquidity management strategy and operations, including cash positioning, forecasting, cash concentration and intercompany funding across US and Canadian entities.

• Lead liquidity reporting and strategic scenario modeling, including HQ consolidation of regional cash inputs, to inform funding, capital mobility and liquidity decisions.

• Manage senior regional bank relationships and banking structures, including FBO arrangements, driving service, cost and credit-line strategy. Oversee funding execution for corporate obligations, debt transactions and business initiatives.

• Own the global COE operating model and centralized services, including bank account and portal access administration, Treasury master data, cash reporting, and payment and settlement support, with clear ownership and service standards.

• Lead, coach and develop the North America and COE teams and extended BPO partners, fostering operational excellence, accountability, strategic partnership and professional growth.

• Own governance and operational resilience across the combined remit, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory, accounting, financial reporting, audit and SOX requirements, supported by effective controls and business continuity.

• Champion Treasury’s global digital roadmap, partnering with FinTech on data architecture, system enhancements, automation and practical adoption of AI-enabled tools. Lead their integration into day-to-day workflows to improve productivity, analytical insight and service quality, while maintaining strong controls, data governance and human oversight.

• Drive senior-level alignment with regional Treasury, Tax, Legal, FinOps, Accounting and Corporate Finance. Lead operational readiness and execution for business enablement and enterprise-wide projects within the North America and Global COE remit.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of progressive cash, liquidity and Treasury systems management experience at a large corporate or multinational entity, including direct ownership of operational delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting. CTP, CFA, ACT or MBA are strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications 

• Expert-level understanding of international banking, complex liquidity structures and Treasury Management Systems (e.g., Kyriba, SAP, FIS), with strong knowledge of US and Canadian cash management.
• Demonstrated experience designing cross-border financial policies and leading technology-driven transformation, ideally within a Treasury COE or shared-services environment.
• Proven experience leading and developing finance professionals and managing outsourced service providers, including transitions and performance improvement.
• Ability to use strategic data analysis, financial modeling and workload-based resource planning to influence senior leadership and guide funding, policy and resource decisions.
• Exceptional communication, influencing and organizational skills, with a track record of leading complex, enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and operational controls. Extensive experience in a multi-entity environment is required; large multinational public company experience is preferred.

For New York City, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $195,000 per year - USD $217,000 per year.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $195,000 per year - USD $217,000 per year.

For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
