What you’ll do

Lead financial reporting, forecasting, and capital planning across multiple high-growth and scaled products
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Product, Tech, Operations, and Marketing to evaluate investment opportunities and resource decisions
Build and refine financial models to assess ROI, profitability, and long-term value creation
Establish frameworks to evaluate success across the product lifecycle and drive alignment on key performance indicators
Translate strategic priorities into actionable annual budgets and forecasts that reflect market conditions, customer behavior, and product stage
Conduct unit economics, profitability, and lifetime value analyses to support go-to-market and investment decisions
Drive the capital allocation process in partnership with business leaders and ensure sound financial stewardship of resources
Manage and develop a team of high-performing finance professionals, providing mentorship and coaching

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
6+ years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, or corporate finance.
Experience working with large-scale datasets and financial reporting systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Proven ability to thrive in high-ambiguity environments and adapt to constant change.
Experience with SQL or similar data manipulation tools to drive business insights.
Strong systems thinking approach to solving complex, multifaceted business problems.
Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to translate technical finance data into compelling narratives for executives.

For New York City, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $162,000 per year - USD $180,000 per year.

You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
