About the Role
As a Senior Application Developer, you will serve as our resident system expert for Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC). Operating within a heavily integrated, enterprise-scale environment, you will do much more than just configure—you will look at the big picture, anticipating upstream and downstream dependencies to ensure seamless data flow and system harmony.
You will partner directly with Product Managers and business teams to scope, design, and implement robust solutions from scratch. If you are a technical authority who loves solving complex architectural puzzles and driving global talent acquisition technology forward, this role is for you.
About the Team
The People Systems team is a dynamic, cross-functional group of Product Managers, Developers, Engineers, and Data/Security specialists. Together, we own the global ecosystem of SaaS and homegrown tools that power our People & Places organization. Our mission is simple yet massive: build, enhance, and secure the technology that shapes the employee experience for our global workforce.
What You'll Do
- Design & Architecture: Serve as the technical authority for ORC. Design sophisticated, scalable solutions that account for future growth, complex system infrastructure, and downstream data dependencies.
- Technical Execution: Implement, deploy, and optimize ORC configurations and features, constantly driving toward process automation, data integrity, and robust metrics monitoring.
- End-to-End Project Leadership: Scope and drive meaningful new HR tech initiatives. Partner with stakeholders to understand complex business problems, translate requirements into technical designs, and proactively mitigate system "gotchas" and corner cases.
- Product & Business Partnership: Act as a strategic technical partner to Recruiting and HR leadership. Maintain an open feedback loop through iterative design, live demos, and rigorous testing to deliver highly efficient, compliant, and global solutions.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) experience, with deep expertise in its advanced capabilities and configurability to meet complex global requirements.
- 2+ years of experience partnering directly with Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, or HR organizations to scope and deliver technical solutions.
- Proven expertise in the full application development lifecycle, with a demonstrated ability to identify cross-system dependencies in a heavily integrated environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting multi-platform technical issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong technical expertise in Oracle HCM integrations, data extracts (HCM Extracts, BI Publisher), and technical components.
- Functional knowledge of broader Oracle HCM modules (Core HR, Talent Management) and the overall HR technology ecosystem.
- Experience integrating ORC with third-party talent acquisition tools (e.g., Beamery, Workday, or homegrown platforms).
