About the role and team
In this role, you will be at the front lines of Uber’s growth, identifying and securing partnerships with Enterprise Retail merchants. You won't just be selling a platform; you’ll be architecting long-term commercial value in a high-stakes, competitive environment where every deal requires a unique blend of persistence and strategic problem-solving.
This role is for someone who thrives on the adrenaline of a complex sales cycle and isn't deterred by the word "no." You will join a team that values grit and adaptability, moving fast to bridge the digital and real worlds while navigating the ambiguity of a rapidly evolving marketplace.
What you’ll do
- Build and grow long-term partnerships by understanding what matters most to our customers — not just selling a product.
- Navigate ambiguity, shifting priorities, and internal complexity to unlock value for clients and for Uber.
- Manage pipelines with urgency and discipline, knowing some deals will close fast and others will take months of persistence and trust-building.
- Adapt your approach based on market dynamics, client needs, and imperfect information — there’s no one-size-fits-all playbook here.
- Collaborate across operations, marketing, product, and legal to shape proposals, resolve blockers, and deliver solutions that scale.
- Communicate clearly, negotiate confidently, and stay resilient through tough conversations and the inevitable “no.”
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial account management.
- Experience managing a full sales cycle for complex, high-impact deals.
- Proficiency in pipeline management and lead prioritization within a CRM.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in marketplace, retail, FMCG, or e-commerce sales roles.
- Proven track record of navigating pricing pushbacks and mediation in tough negotiations.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and align interests through data-driven storytelling.
- High adaptability and a "go-get-it" attitude in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments.
Ready to Ride?
This isn't the kind of place where you follow a playbook — it's where you help write one. If you're driven by impact, energized by challenge, and ready to shape how the world moves — we'd love to hear from you.
You may be eligible for bonuses, equity, and other compensation, as well as a range of benefits. Explore our benefits.
