About the Role
We're looking for a driven Business Development Representative Intern (more generally referred to as "インサイドセールス (Inside Sales)" or "内勤営業" in Japanese) to support our Uber for Business sales team in Tokyo. This high-impact position provides sales support to Account Executives through the development of qualified leads that result in achieving our business goals.
This role is targeted at native Japanese-speaking university students currently enrolled in overseas institutions (such as Australia, New Zealand, or other locations) who can commit to a full-time, 40-hour per week internship in Tokyo, Japan from November 2026 to February 2027. If you're looking for career growth, this role serves as an exceptional training ground and potential pathway into a full-time Business Development Representative position.
You will be responsible for outbound prospecting through phone, email, and tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Sales Marker. A key focus in Japan will be building trust-based relationships and understanding customer needs and decision-making processes. Partnering with Account Executives, you will ensure leads are properly qualified and progress through the sales funnel.
