About the Role

Uber's Global Marketing Team is building the next generation of AI-powered marketing. As AI fundamentally changes how marketing is planned, created, measured, and optimized, we have an opportunity to rethink how work gets done—not simply automate existing processes, but reinvent them. We're building AI-powered systems that enable marketers and creatives to move faster, make better decisions, and deliver higher-quality work at global scale.

We're looking for a Creative Technologist to help lead that transformation. Sitting at the intersection of creative, marketing, and tech, you'll design and scale intelligent workflows that accelerate everything from insight generation and creative development to production, localization, and measurement. You'll partner closely with Brand, Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, Creative, Marketing Science, Product, Engineering, and regional marketing teams to build the AI capabilities that power the future of marketing at Uber.

What You'll Do

  • Design and scale AI-powered marketing workflows that help teams move from strategy and creative brief to production, localization, measurement, and optimization.
  • Build reusable AI agents, copilots, and workflow automations that improve productivity across Brand, Growth Marketing, Creative, and regional marketing teams.
  • Develop prompt libraries, evaluation frameworks, and best practices that ensure high-quality, brand-safe, and commercially effective AI outputs.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing Science, and Data teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing marketing platforms, tools, and processes.
  • Prototype and operationalize multi-agent workflows that automate research, creative iteration, content generation, reporting, and campaign optimization.
  • Create internal tools and applications that surface actionable insights, automate repetitive work, and improve decision-making across Marketing.
  • Identify emerging AI technologies and rapidly test new capabilities that can create competitive advantage for Uber Marketing.
  • Help establish governance, quality standards, and responsible AI practices across creative and marketing workflows.
  • Train and enable marketing teams to effectively adopt AI tools, embedding AI into everyday ways of working rather than treating AI as a standalone capability.
  • Measure the impact of AI initiatives through improvements in speed, quality, efficiency, and marketing performance.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience working at the intersection of technology, product, and marketing/creative teams, including 3+ years directly designing, deploying, and operationalizing modern AI architectures.
  • Experience building applications, workflows, or automation using modern AI technologies and large language models.
  • Strong understanding of prompt engineering, AI evaluation, and generative AI workflows.
  • Experience with Python, JavaScript, SQL, APIs, or workflow automation platforms.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with creative, product, marketing, or technical teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical business solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience applying AI within creative, marketing, advertising, or content production environments.
  • Familiarity with multimodal models, agentic AI frameworks, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and orchestration platforms.
  • Experience building internal AI tools, prototypes, or production applications.
  • Understanding of creative production workflows, campaign development, and marketing measurement.
  • Experience with cloud AI platforms and modern development environments.
  • A passion for experimenting with new technologies and rapidly turning ideas into scalable solutions.
  • Previous work experience within a consumer technology company.
