About the Team & Role
The People Partner team provides HR support to Uber’s leaders, managers, and employees, especially in the moments that matter. The team helps drive engagement, strengthen the employee experience, and support Uber’s growth through regional and global People initiatives.
We’re looking for a seasoned People Partner to support employees across EMEA, with a focus on the Netherlands. This person will act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on people matters including performance, engagement, employee relations, organizational health, and broader People priorities.
The ideal candidate is data-driven, organized, adaptable, and passionate about improving processes and the employee experience in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Advise managers and employees on people matters including performance, engagement, employee relations, and organizational health.
- Use data and insights to identify trends, inform decisions, and drive continuous improvement in HR delivery.
- Partner with cross-functional People teams, including ER, Benefits, People Operations, Systems, Analytics, and HRBPs, to deliver a consistent employee experience.
- Support key People processes and initiatives, including talent reviews, performance cycles, organizational changes, and local priorities.
- Apply knowledge of Dutch and European employment practices to support practical, compliant, and business-focused solutions.
- Build scalable ways of working by simplifying, improving, and automating processes where possible.
What You’ll Need
- 5+ years of relevant HR experience, for example as an HR Generalist, People Partner, Advisor, Business Partner, or project/program manager.
- Strong knowledge of Dutch employment practices, with broader European HR knowledge preferred.
- Experience advising managers and employees on complex or sensitive HR matters, including employee relations and performance.
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and coaching skills.
- Ability to operate with sound judgment, influence without authority, and execute effectively in a fast-moving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience coaching managers and peers on HR processes, leadership capability, employee relations, investigations, or complaints.
- Strong project management skills, with HRS, JIRA, or ServiceNow experience considered a plus.
