About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and thoughtful Program Manager to join our Ethics & Compliance Global Programs team. In this role, you’ll help protect Uber, our customers, and our communities by fostering a culture of ethical decision-making. You will manage our global intake process for employee disclosures and requests, serving as a key touchpoint for employees navigating ethical questions. Through clear guidance and positive interactions, you’ll help employees understand their responsibilities and build trust in our Ethics & Compliance program. This is a unique opportunity to play a meaningful role in evolving our global program that helps Uber consistently Do the Right Thing.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Manage the intake, review, and response process for employee disclosures, including conflicts of interest, business courtesies, and charitable donations.
- Translate compliance policies, guidelines, and regulatory expectations into clear, practical guidance for employees.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Policy, HR, and other partners to obtain appropriate reviews and approvals.
- Deliver a high-quality, respectful, and solutions-oriented experience in every employee interaction.
- Balance speed and accuracy while managing complex, high-volume workflows.
- Conduct regular quality assurance on AI-powered chatbot responses to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Support broader Ethics & Compliance Global Programs initiatives, including communications and training.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in compliance, policy management, risk management, legal, or business advisory functions
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Professional working proficiency in both English and Spanish
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, with confidence and flexibility to adapt in rapidly changing environments.
- Professional working proficiency in Portuguese is a big plus!
- Strong judgment and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential matters.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across functions.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Clear and effective communicator who can anticipate needs and think ahead.
- Go Get It mindset and willingness to contribute wherever needed.
- Familiarity with global regulatory environments and enforcement trends is a plus.
