About the Role
Uber is looking for strategic sales powerhouses to join our Advertising division. As a Sr. Client Partner, you will be the primary architect of strategic partnerships with our largest Non-Endemic partners in Canada. You won’t just manage a portfolio; you will own the end-to-end sales strategy for top-tier brands, driving the adoption of our rapidly expanding suite of products across the Mobility and Delivery platforms.
This is a high-stakes role where you will work in lockstep with a Partner Manager to deliver "Execution Excellence" and measurable impact for our partners. At Uber, we navigate ambiguity, earn trust fast, and solve problems that don’t come with a script. If you are a "Go Get It" seller ready to help write the playbook for our Canadian expansion, this is your next move.
What You’ll Do
-
Go Get It: Relentlessly execute ads partnership strategies that hit partner marketing objectives and crush quarterly growth goals with a bias for action.
-
Trip Obsessed: Act as the "Voice of the Customer." You will translate partner needs into actionable feedback for our Product roadmaps, ensuring we build solutions that solve real-world challenges.
-
One Uber: Serve as an indispensable cross-functional lead. You will bridge the gap between Product, Marketing, and Operations to ensure seamless delivery and total organizational alignment.
-
See the Forest and the Trees: Build high-fidelity relationships with C-level marketing executives while maintaining a master-level grip on the granular details of complex enterprise sales cycles.
-
Build with Heart: Differentiate Uber’s offerings by communicating the value of new ads products with a lens of creativity, driving long-term growth and success for our partners.
-
Great Minds Don’t Think Alike: Employ critical thinking and creative problem-solving to navigate difficult partner conversations and solve unique business challenges in the Canadian market.
Basic Qualifications
-
5+ years of professional experience.
-
Proven experience in end-to-end Enterprise / Large Customer Digital Advertising Sales specifically within the Canada region.
-
A documented sales track record of selling sophisticated advertising solutions to large, complex enterprise brands.
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Canadian Market Fluency: Deep existing relationships with major brands and agency holding companies across Canada.
-
Speed & Resourcefulness: High learning agility and a "Go Get It" mentality; comfortable navigating ambiguity and making smart decisions with imperfect information.
-
Data-Driven Storytelling: Expert ability to use data and insights to quantify opportunities and influence senior-level decision-makers.
-
Strategic Planning: Proven capability to build and implement sales plans that result in mutual success for our partners and the Uber ecosystem.
-
Exceptional Communication: Mastery in listening, negotiation, and organizational management to drive "Execution Excellence."
