SOAR is a management trainee program within APAC Community Operations for graduates with less than 1 year of professional work experience. Participants have the opportunity to work in different roles across strategy, operations and analytics on a rotational basis during an 18 month period, gaining a broad range of skills foundational to a career at Uber.

How we hire

Step 1

Apply online

Applications open in May each year, keep an eye on our careers site or register your interest and we will let you know when applications are open.

Step 2

Screening

Our specialist University recruiting team will reach out to you to request you to submit an essay application (written or video) and ask you to complete an analytics assessment test

Step 3

Interview

You will be invited to a virtual interview with our hiring team from different business functions across Community Operations. During the interview you will be asked a series of questions to assess your potential.

Step 4

Case study

You will be asked to prepare and present a case-study to address a real-life business scenario where your problem-solving skills will be assessed.

Step 5

Final interview

You will have the opportunity to meet with a senior leader from Community Operations during which you will able to ask any other questions you might have.

Step 6

Offer

Final results of your application will be received during July, with offers extended for an August start.
