Working at Uber isn’t easy; it can’t be. We’re working on a global scale and coordinating millions of trips every day. That’s why we offer extensive benefits to make sure you’re at your best, and thriving inside and outside of your work. We got you.
Doing work that moves the real world takes care, focus, and energy. That’s why supporting your health and wellbeing—and that of your family—is a priority at Uber.
In many countries, including the U.S., Uber provides a comprehensive medical insurance plan for you and your eligible dependents. Where it is not applicable, we offer an allowance to support your medical insurance costs. In the U.S. and other countries, Uber also provides life and disability insurance for all eligible employees. Talk to your recruiter to learn about country-specific coverage.

Doing work that has real-world impact requires time to step away and reset. That’s why Uber offers a range of time off and leave options that vary by location, including paid time off, sick leave, marriage leave, bereavement leave, voting time off, and local holidays—so people can take care of life beyond work. For example, US employees receive all of these except marriage leave.
And after eight years at Uber, employees can take a fully paid four-week sabbatical. It’s time built in for reflection, exploration, or focus—because careers that move the world are built for the long run.
